“The world is a stage, the stage is a world of entertainment.”

The stage was all set at Col Brown School, on the evening of May 12th,2022. The students were waiting in awe to spend the evening at Tamarind Theatre to witness an exhilarating, entertainment show.
The students of class XII took time out from their busy schedule with the ongoing board exams, to entertain the students before the school wrapped up for the summer vacation.
The programme was envisioned and executed entirely by the students. In fact, it came as a pleasant surprise for the members of the staff too!
The students presented a string of melodious songs, solo, duet and a group song. From the rendition of a sufi song to a popular Punjabi, urban song, ‘Insane’. The tiny tots stole the heart of the audience with their charming performance, ‘The Butterfly song’. The other popular numbers were ‘Yaar modd do’ and ‘Chaand baaliyaan’. Each performance was par excellence.
The last performance of the evening was a skit ‘Causes of increasing violence in today’s generation.’ The skit depicted how the youth today gets easily influenced, especially by movies. The underlying message was that we should use our intelligence to extract the good and discard the bad. The skit was written and directed by Akhil Khan.
The audience was mesmerised by the entire programme. The smiles, tapping of feet and cheering said it all! Three cheers for our talented students!
