“Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words.” Robert Frost

A Hindi Elocution Competition was organised at Col. Brown Cambridge School on 17th September,2022. The stage was set and the audience sat with bated breaths as the first big competition after the pandemic was being held.

Poetry is one of the ancient arts, wherein words are woven together in the most powerful expression. It evokes the emotions of the ones reciting as well as those who listen. It carries you away into a world of beauty and also a world of harsh reality, as poets used it as a medium to express their thoughts.

Dressed immaculately in their uniform, the students were ready to put their best foot forward for the competition. There were different groups as well as individuals who were going to perform. Every participant performed with gusto!

The audience was completely overcome by the expressions displayed with a perfect diction. The selection of the poems was excellent. The morning’s event was even more special with the parents joining in as the audience. In a competition there have to be winners but for us each participant was a winner. Well done students!
