Participation in sports plays a pivotal role in fostering the comprehensive development of students. A recent noteworthy event on the global stage was the 19th Asian Games held at the Hong Kong Olympic Sports Centre Stadium, also known as the Big Lotus, in China. Notably, three intelligent robots showcased the technological prowess of Hangzhou city: Cong Cong provided insights into archaeological ruins, Lian Lian symbolized the scenic West Lake, and the third robot, Chechen, depicted the Beijing- Hangzhou Grand Canal.
India made history with an unprecedented achievement of winning a remarkable one hundred seven medals, setting a new benchmark in the sporting arena. This exceptional feat was celebrated through a slide and video presentation on October 28th, aimed at creating awareness and amplifying the students’ perspectives on the significance of sports in personal and societal development.
To further engage and assess the students’ understanding, a quiz related to the Asian Games and its impact was conducted at the conclusion of the activity. The students demonstrated enthusiasm and active participation, showcasing the profound impact of sports events on their awareness and knowledge.
