Friendly Cricket Match

February 13, 2019 saw Teachers Vs Students all set for a friendly Cricket Match on A Field. After a fierce competition, it ended with teachers managing to edge out the students by 6 wickets. However, we are always proud of the zeal and zest our children exhibit in all spheres.

Col. Brown School was honoured by the presence of Brigadier Ravi Palsokar who was commissioned in The Brigade of Guards in December 1962. Besides various professional courses of the Army, he has the distinction of being a graduate of the Staff college Camberley UK, he also has a Masters Degree from the Command and General staff college, Fort Leavenworth US. Brigadier Ravi Palsokar has made his nation proud many a times by his outstanding performances in the armed forces. He commanded an infantry Brigade for two years in Sri Lanka during the Indian Peace Keeping Force (IPKF) operations 1986, 87.
Brigadier Palsokar shared his experiences and gave an insight into the I.P.K.F campaign of the Indian Army. He also expounded qualities of courage, honesty and leadership. The talk was extremely interesting and , inspiring and informative. The students asked many questions and he answered most willingly with the noblest of intent of guiding todays youth.

CBS students reported back on 29th January 2019 after a rejuvenating winter vacation. Students of classes 10th and 12th seem to be geared -up for Board Examinations and others for Monthly Tests. Classes have been called off for 10th and 12th and they are busy with exam preparations in their respective houses whereas regular classes are going on for others. Practices for English elocution have started. We are looking ahead for an outstanding performance by all the students in the forthcoming examinations and activities this term. We wish them good luck!
