92 Years of Excellence Founder’s Day Celebration

The calendar year 2018 of Colonel Brown Cambridge School had a befitting move-on with the much awaited 92nd Founder’s Day Celebration on 30th November, 2018. As a part of the occasion Annual Sports Day and Exhibitions were organized.
Mr. Ajit Singh was present to grace the occasion as the Chief Guest. Mr. Ajit Singh is the ex- brownian, 1985 passout and is actively involved with social reforms like running an NGO ‘Guria’ in Varanasi for the welfare of girls.
The official proceedings of the meet began with the address by the Headmaster Mr. S.K.Tyagi followed by the inspection of the marching contingents of the three houses namely Principal House, Bursar House and Headmaster House. The entire programme itenary included Inter-house Final Athletics, Music, Zumba Aerobics, Gymnastics and adress by the Chief Guest. Towards the end, amidst excitement and thrill, the final results were declared and the honour of distribution of prizes was done by Mr. Ajit Singh. The meet advanced its close with the Torch Tattoo which was a manifestation of agility and tenacity that the students portrayed. The eventful day came to its close with High Tea. Hearts of students overbrimming with cheerfulness knew no bounds as they were with their parents and were to leave for winter vacations. Bursar House was declared the overall winning house.

Farewell Party

Twilight broke and Class XII boys were seen walking along the Bursar Garden silhouetted against the moonlit night. They all looked spectacular in tuxedos, bow-ties and pocket squares. Taking a break from the hectic academic routine, a reason to celebrate was grabbed at the Farewell Party on November 12, 2018. The cheerful faces of the students and their overwhelmed hearts revealed excitement. A welcome note by Sumrit Guglani on behalf of his batch mates, was very heart touching. Then it all kick started with the cake cutting, serving of snacks, ramp walk and dances and closed with a lavish dinner. All the boys walked the ramp exhibiting Haute Couture like real show stoppers. The titles earned were Sahil Garg- Best Dressed, Sumrit Guglani- Mr.Versatile and Hemant Kumar- King of the Ramp. It was an enjoyable evening with hearts brimming with mixed feelings of nostalgia and pride.
